Based in Ellicott City, Maryland, Melissa Litvak started painting faces in the Baltimore, D.C., and Northern Virginia areas as a teen in 2000, while working for entertainment companies. She started Face Painting by Melissa in 2006, as a college student, and changed her company name in 2015 to better reflect her personality and represent her local clientelle. Natural ability and training in the fine arts contributes to her distinctive face and body art designs. She has been taught by world renowned face and body artists and actively participates in face and body art education. Melissa is a Towson University graduate, working full-time as a graphic designer before becoming a stay-at-home mom and fine artist. 

 

Melissa loves children and enjoys watching them grow and helping them learn. Patience with children and adults is very important to her. She looks forward to the friendly people, lovely locales, and cultural experiences that often await her at each event, and she and her talented team of artists and entertainers cannot wait to make your event an experience you too will remember!
